Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa refers to the alignment of movement and breath. In this class Asanas (postures) are linked into fluid sequences, in co-ordination with the breath, often built upon Surya Namaskar (sun salutation), which forms the basis of the vinyasa flow. This helps to built strength and flexibility. Time is also devoted to exploring breathing practices (pranayama) and concentration/meditation techniques. Yoga theory and philosophy is gently interwoven throughout the class, helping to develop a deeper knowledge and understanding of the practice of yoga.
