Pregnancy Yoga
Pregnancy is a wonderful time in a woman's life, but it can be tough. Yoga gently helps women to stretch and relax during their pregnancy and prepares them for labour and beyond. Yoga can help improve both physical and mental well-being during this special time. It is also a great opportunity to meet fellow pregnant women and share experiences.
A typical class will include a range of poses and sequences to help flexibility and strength, together with breathing techniques designed to be beneficial during pregnancy and helpful in labour. Classes will end with a relaxation, allowing women time to be quiet and connect with their growing baby.
Woman can begin pregnancy yoga classes at any stage of their pregnancy from 15 weeks onwards. The classes are equally suitable for someone who’s not done any yoga before, or for those who are more experienced.
