Mother and Baby Yoga
It can be difficult to find the time to exercise once children come along. This class allows the new mother to ease herself gently back into her yoga practice with her baby. There's a focus on toning the pelvic floor and abdomen and easing the back and shoulders. A typical class will include poses and sequences, breathing practices and a welcomed chance to relax at the end. Women find that practising yoga together with their baby helps to strengthen their bond and gently allows her body to recover from pregnancy and labour.
All the classes are very informal, and mothers are welcome to feed or change or attend to their babies whenever necessary.
