Ashtanga Yoga
This is a led Ashtanga Yoga class which moves through a range of postures within the Ashtanga Primary series and explores how to modify the Primary series to suit our wide ranging personal needs. Ashtanga Yoga aims to purify the body from the inside out by generating heat, through the use of physical movement co-ordinated with the breath, and the incorporation of the Ujjayi breath and the bandhas into the physical practice of yoga. The class is largely physical, ending with a brief seated breathing/relaxation practice.
